photo throw down! (seriously, you'll be scrolling for the next five minutes)

I put captain down in his crib after I fed him so I could get some stuff done.  I heard Smith go into the nursery and when I asked him if Captain was okay, he said "I-I-I'm juss poo-teen (he recently developed a stutter) a bwayn-tit on Taptan".  So I ran in and this is what I found.  He loves him.

those lips!  I could just kiss them all day. okay I do.

Papa and Smith's fire truck they built together at Home Depot.  He's obsessed with it.

and I'm glad I got photos because it is now missing half of its stickers.

our boys are so righteous. ;)

 love that Stoneman nose.

sometimes I sneak in and take pictures of my boys sleeping.  I'm so creepy.

"mah-mah-mahhhm, tum tate a picher ah me"

the first of many wrestling matches.

again.  creepy.

my purpose in this picture was to show his perfectly pimpled nose.  it formed the most beautiful heart.  but of course you can't tell here!

hey at least he was awake this time.

my boys

we got another one folks!

a little jaundiced, but delicious as ever!

this boy.  he's seriously an angel baby.  and seriously the best labor and birth ever (and not just because it was three hours!).  i can't wait to bore you with every beautiful minute of it.

my mom and Cole's parents have been so incredible and have given up so much of their time to help us adjust.   I finished feeding the captain and walked into Smith's bedroom to find my mom and him reading books.  I love how much this kid loves reading.  especially with his mimi and oma.  and although he has more than once tried putting on one of Captain's diapers and has been known to throw tantrums that would put Hurricane Andrew to shame, i'm happy to report that smith is again thriving. (and back to peeing on the potty!)*

*pooping is an entirely different story

nothing since June huh?

pathetic.

but, this is what we've been up to!  between moving, being (oober) pregnant in the hottest months of the year, and being gypsies moving to and fro until our house closed (thank you Stonemans, Goughs, and Croslands!), we've pretty much all lost our minds.

maybe I'm just speaking for myself.

But alas!  Here we are, in our new home, fresh paint fumes destroying my brain cells as I type.  And so so so happy to have a place to call home.

an anniversary.
 (the salt lake temple.  duh.)

Schnepft Farm on a Thursday morning.  best. idea. ever.
then a tour at the olive mill in Queen Creek.

swimming.  lots and lots of swimming.

one of 3 (total) mat. shots.  oh how different things are with baby #2 around here.
