I am overwhelmed with gratitude today. So happy. So grateful. SO in love with life.
Life is good, isn't it?! My husband's birthday is Friday, two of my dearest friends came home fromt their mission, and I am living every girl's dream.
Can I share a journal entry I made this morning?! Please? It is nothing profound, just a personal discovery.
I just recognized something beautiful! I realized I had forgotten to pray prior to studying, so I knelt and prayed, and as I prayed I recognized the power of prayer and the beauty of it! I thanked Heavenly Father for the wonderful blessing of having opposition…..for me to be able to work and to not (on days like today when I go in after school ). Because of this blessing, I have been able to go work out, read a book, relax in the steam room, shower, work on my canvas art project, clean the kitchen, talk to a friend that just got home from her mission, email Cole about a concern I had, and have scripture study. What a wonderful day so far! Also I thanked Father for allowing Cole such a wonderful job where we can work together, and where he can be successful at his work, as well as work on other things, like his calling. I thanked Father for Cole, for how sweet and good he is to me, and for how hard he works. As I have accomplished so much already today, I realized that he works all day, almost every day, and yet still accomplishes so much each day.
And so, I am grateful for prayer. For the opportunity Father gives me to reflect on the joyous experiences in my life “always returning thanks unto God for whatsoever things you do receive” Alma 7:23, for the opportunity to recognize how lucky I am, for what a wonderful life I live, and for wonderful family and friends around me. And for my husband most of all.

wow.. you are my inspiration. I feel like I accomplish nothing everyday. I survive.. each day. really. I really I had more time/made more time for spiritual things. You are my inspiration, Rem.
Thanks for inspiring me too. I need to spend more time in prayer. And with a heart full of gratitude like you. I'm so glad that Cole is so good to you. You deserve it.
Beautiful rem. It is a wonder to think how many peoples lives would be different if they were able to be grateful for the things they have or if they understood the reality and power of prayer. You are a constant inspiration, you and Cole both.

I think it's so important to be thankful for what may seem like small things in a day. A thankful day = a better day = a better week = life is good. ;0)
Good reminder! Love you rem!
