You know, you find out who your real friends are when you don't have internet. Thank you Amy, Lisa, and mom, for checking to make sure I wasn't dead. As for the rest of you, I could have been rotting away in my house for 3 months for all you know. You should be ashamed.
So, whilst I HAVEN'T been blogging (or using the internet, whatsoever), I've had some extra time to get things done around the house. Now we Stonemans believe in the adage, "use it up, wear it out, make it do or do without", so we took what we had and did something to it.
BEFORE: patient bed frame from dad's old office
....some black spray paint and some white paint, sanded down to show original layers, foam, batting, leather material, and staple gun......
AFTER: headboard!

And naturally, I can't leave you all without a little bit a chub.
AFTER: headboard!
BEFORE: parent's old dresser spray painted black by college bound husband.

AFTER: painted white and sanded down to show existing layers. added hardware.
Cole went up to Utah for his beautiful grandmother's funeral, so in order to keep from calling the police every five seconds with every noise outside caused by the murderers hiding in the orchards that surround our new home, I started a new project.

Maybe we should all get rid of our internet and see if we could be nearly as artistic and productive as you guys were!
Well done, I especially like the headboard, it will be fun to come see it when we're down there in November!
So glad we got to see you three, love you!
...I can just hear the murderers now, "head to the orchards!!!!!"
Maybe you should be starting up a business of creating stuff from old stuff?
Smith looks like a miniature Buddha in the last picture, all smiley and content.
That top picture of Smith is the cutest.
Great projects!
Smith is even cuter than last time I saw him! Glad you guys are all settled into your new place. And nice job on that dresser...I love it!
Fantastic work Rem! With your projects and that beautiful baby boy!
What a cutie! And love the headboard! Hope it'll last you a long time.
Actually, you can tell who your friends are by the ones who don't leave you hanging on their blog for six months with "It's time to poo again" as the headliner.
