I have a crib, a hope chest, a bumbo, and a stainless steel oven drawer to prove it, even if this picture doesn’t.
I’m online right now frantically trying to find a dress for a black tie event for Cole’s work. Cole swears he found out about it two days ago. It’s this Friday. I’ve never been to a black tie dinner, and I don’t know anyone (except my 9 year old niece that who be in attendance), so needless to say I’m a little nervous about it.
not to mention, where does one find a sleeved, knee-length “black tie” dress nowadays?
I can’t say I even know what “black tie” attire is.

Do you have to wear black? I'll I've seen online is black dresses. Nordstrom did have some with sleeves...good luck, sounds fun!
We have some of your old prom dresses in the closet. I'm sure one of those would work!

Heck no you don't have to wear black. I used to have to dress for black tie functions when I worked for Merrill Lynch. I always liked to be the one who dressed with a punch of color. Whatever it is that you decide, you will look amazing.

I'm so mad you didn't get any pictures. Did Natalie? Even a cell phone picture? Your mom said you looked beautiful - very Audrey Hepburn-ish. We'd love to see it!
