today has been one of those hard "mom" days.  I just text (is 'text' like, bison?  singular AND plural? or is it texted?)  cole that I need some serious mom props and that dinner probably won't be ready for him when he gets here.  but I love him anyway.

in an attempt to go outside and break from our routine, I took these.

and then we turned right back and went inside because both our faces were bright red.   they aren't kidding about those extreme heat warnings.

we need friends (aka playdates).  any volunteers?
