he's no longer calling a cheetah a "chee", or a butterfly a "fwy". it makes me kind of sad. its all "chee-tah" and "budda-fwy" around here these days. be still my heart.
he's into complete sentences now too, but every word seems to come out as its own sentence, so its more like this: "daddy. home. work. taste. banana. cake."
we'll say something like, "smith, you made lots of happy choices today!" to which he'll reply "yeah!"
I absolutely, positively love having conversations with this little boy. his spirit seems so wise, so mature, and I feel as if I could talk to him all day and he would listen all day long and give me advice to help me understand what it is I'm not quite understanding.
that is, until he wants to play catch. or eat a "swack", or have a "tweet!" and then I remember he's just a little boy growing up too fast and helping his poor mama learn a little along the way.
goodness GRACIOUS I love him!
