Kylan has taught me to find happiness in everything around you, serve others, be open-minded, to listen, to love, to never take for granted a day, an opportunity,
or a chance to change a life.
He taught me to be spontaneous, to never give up an chance to learn.
To love the Lord and His gospel, to become more like Him,
to try something new, to learn something new, and to be something better.
To discover who you are and your own capabilities every day.
He taught me to be excited about life, what happens to you, and most of all what happens to others.

My dad taught me to watch the sun rise and be grateful for another beautiful day,
to be independant, to try to learn as much as you can about everything you can, to not take for granted an education,
to learn something from everyone you meet,
that your family is the most imporant thing and where you'll find your best friends,
to ski, snowboard, wakeboard, surf, scuba dive, bike, drive a boat, a car, a jet-ski, and a motorcycle,
eat bacon and cheddar cheez wiz with ritz crackers,
and to appreciate and respect nature and all that our Father in Heaven has given us.
He taught me how to make the scriptures come alive by relating them to today,
how to teach, how to listen, and how to learn.

I wanna give an AMEN to having a dad teach me how to relate the scriptures to ME and make them relate to present time.
I still hear him as my seminary teacher saying... so what does that mean for you TODAY in 1993?
Does that date me?
You have such a way with words. They're both great guys and it's awesome that you've taken advantage of what you could learn from them.
YES! This post is awesome. We are so lucky to have them. You did good on this post rem. Good job.
Oh my goodness. Was I the cutest little boy you've ever heard of or what! (minus the second picture of me which may or may not resemble the face someone makes when going to the bathroom)
REMI, thank you so much for such kind words. Truth be told, you have made a far greater impact on my life than I have on yours by a long shot. You have been, and still are, such an inspiration to Jen and I. Thank you for your constant friendship and unwaivering smile. You mean so much to Jen, Lili and me. We love you tons and can't wait to see you again for Christmas this year. But seriously, you can't expect to do something like post the nicest blog of the century and not get a response blog from us. Keep an eye out for why I adore you on our blog.
Your friend,
Ky
Remi,
You are so lucky to have such a wonderful family, and great examples. Just like you told me in the thank you note you sent me "I want to be them" When I was watching you and your family at Lindsay's reception I couldn't help but think I want my family to be just like theirs! Melynda King
OKay....Remi! How long has it been?! I'm so excited I found your blog! I was just thinkin' about our little singing group and how much fun it was (maybe too much)! I miss you.
OK this was the sweetest thing ever. You are always so kind with your words. You have an amazing family and are so lucky to have them. As they are lucky to have you (anyone is lucky to know you!!)
