It was so fun to go around and celebrate Cole by sharing our favorite {story/memory/experience} {of/with/concerning} him. Some had to do with dancing, some with motorcycle riding, some with test score bragging, some with super discreet girl check-outs, some reminded us of his beautiful heart, his love for his family, and the love OF his family.

FACT: the birthday song.....I hate it. Does anyone really like it? It's too high, gets all awkward at that second to last happy BIRTHday part and it's kind of like at church where you either stop singing on just that one note and only 2 people keep singing, or you drop to alto. Also, what happened to creativity here....how in the wide world did that song go viral? Because its easy for kids to memorize? Please, if someone has a better one, I would be delighted to use it to accompany the candled pazookie next year.
Also, Cole made me promise not to spend money on his gift, so instead I had a rough week and spent it here. I really threw down. So tonight, I'll dance around in my beautiful vest and boots, and return it all tomorrow because the guilt will win.

So sad I didn't know it was Cole's birthday! Happy Birthday to him!
1. Playing Minute to Win It games with Cole (and you) like the first day I ever met him.
2. Cole eating a banana outside the orangutan exhibit while the poor monkeys only had lettuce.
3. Cole guessing that I was pregnant when we hadn't told ANYONE and I had only found out 3 days before and you shouting it (literally) from the rooftops.
