Cabrillo National Monument. Z (Lindsey) and I snuck (sneeked? snook?) a peek at the tide pools and cliffs. It was really breathtaking, but our snooking was cut short due to two screaming back seat drivers who told us their bedtime was upon us.

San Diego is my favorite vacation all year. I love the constant white noise of the ocean waves. I love the cool breeze. I love waking up and rollerblading down the boardwalk. I love our daily bike rides down the beach and around to the bay. I love doing yoga on the paddle board. I love my beautiful family.
so even with a rocky start of the trip (eight hours of driving, car breaking down, then a $120 tank of gas), its ALWAYS worth every. single. second. it takes to get there.
