I May or May Not be Obsessed.

I don't know exactly why I feel like I can be Annie Green-thumb all of a sudden, but Cole and I were at IKEA a week ago and I fell in LOVE with trees. Not ONLY this tree, but ALL of them. They had a ton, and for really cheap, and as it came as a big surprise, I was immediately taken by all of them. I love this one most. So, after very little begging, my sweet husband gave in, and we came home with an african fig tree for our house. Its my baby.

isn't she beautiful? Cole says its getting out of control.....

NOTHING, I repeat... NOTHING should come between a newlywed and her tree.

I remember my first. The frost of 2007 took it's life prematurely.

Can't wait til your post about adopting a dog. Might a suggest a border collie?

Oh Remi, I love this post! I have this secret dream that I'm going to be a proficient gardener and fruit tree grower. I'm just convinced that I'll have this lush backyard with flowers and vegetables galore and perfect lines of fruit trees...think Kelly and Tina's backyard. I'm not sure why but it's just there in the back of my mind waiting for a yard for me to test it on! I did have some ivy plants when Kylan and I first got married that I loved and I actually think they ended up at your apartment in Idaho...any idea what happened to those? :) Congrats on the tree, it's so fun!

When you start taking it to the park to play with other trees~ that's when I'll worry about you.

lol. I love it. Green pets aren't a bad idea! I know I'll never get to have anything with fur because Todd will either A.) try to kill it or B.) sneeze himself to death... Maybe I'll try out a tree. I can see it now:

"Todd! You can't just pick its leaves off. It's ALIVE."
"So? It's a TREE."
