colekwando

Usually, Anthropologie home inspires me for days on end. Yesterday, I was moseying my way through a friends tumblr page and found this. THIS, people, is my dress inspiration. Anthro is my home inspiration (although my home looks NOTHING like Anthro). So, readership, look on and be inspired.........
On another, more violent note, my husband has taken to colekwando in the middle of the night. You see, he's not a very nice person....when he's sleeping. Really and truly, the man turns into a beast. I've been awakened from my slumber by karate chops to the face and arms and roundhouse kicks to the legs for simply rolling over (because I wake up on my RIGHT side, panic, and flip over) and GRAZING his body. Even if he has sprawled himself out on my side of the bed, he still feels horribly wronged if I dare to brush by his backside. Sometimes, I wake because I'm freezing cold, and when I try to take some of our blanket back, he huffs and wraps it more tightly around his body. I feel abandoned and cold and can't stop shivering.
And he doesn't care.
As long as I don't touch him.
How can I tame this wild man in the night? I feel hated and abused in the night, and yet, when he rises in the morning, he's all sunshine and roses! And he makes me breakfast and freshly squeezed orange juice and starts a fire and cuddles with me as we watch the sunrise.... but I can't help but watch his every move suspiciously through the corner of my eye, remembering the colekwando kick to the throat the night before....
no bruised bones yet....just a battered ego.

haha. well, the one thing i can suggest is getting your own blankets:) Seth and I have our own blankets, both the size of our bed, because we had that problem too. Now that part is fixed. I'm not sure what to say about the karate chops, wear pads to bed?? jk ;) love ya girl.

so... maybe you should have seperate blankets. there is no rule in marriage that says you have to share a blanket! ;)

i have to laugh at your explanation how your nights go because that's how my husband, sam, says i am each night. but with time, i've gotten a little better, i always tell him to fight back, so... fight back, lol.

I have no sympathy for you Remi. All Cole wants is a peaceful night of sleep. How do you think he feels to be rudely interrupted from a sweet dream?

Answer: NOT HAPPY

Clearly I am not a snuggler at night and Kylan may or may not have experienced his fair share of Jenkwando.

Moral of the story. Snuggle while awake, not while sleeping.
