Cole and I got in a very heated discussion about aliens yesterday. You see, I think they don't exist. He, on the other hand, is VERY positive that they do. I think there is life on other planets, sure, but they don't have green bodies and big heads with long creepy limbs and they don't suck people into their spaceships and spit them out. I think that they look like us, and they should probably just hang out, because why not? They'd fit right in.....maybe they do. Maybe we have extra terrestrials living amongst us.
Cole thinks they are afraid because we'll dissect them. Right about then is when he told me all my arguments didn't make any sense.
There's a UFOlogist in our ward.....thus, our Sunday (heated) discussion. I'm pretty sure that there's no such thing as a UFOlogist, I think someone just made the name up.
We decided to bring it up at dinner again with Cole's family. They (obviously) all agreed with me. Then on went our conversation about dinosaurs, bigfoot (or was it the abominable snowman?), and other such important mysteries of the universe.
I think that tells you all how cool my in-laws are.

Same, same. Kevin believes in all that stuff and I don't.
I have a vague memory of my dad driving me to dance one saturday morning and telling me, very matter-of-factly, that he had been abducted by aliens.

I will go on record for two things. Three things actually. ONE: I saw a UFO, with my own two eyes. In Reno. About 11:30 at night. BELIEVE IT. Second. I met no less than 15 people who had seen BIGFOOT, in Florida. Although, there, he is called SKUNK-APE. And three, Butternut Squash babies give me the willies.
